(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA)β€”Winner of five Tony Awards on Broadway, including Best Play, β€œThe Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time,” is coming to Delaware County Community College. Based on a bestselling book, it is the poignant and funny story about Christopher Boone, a 15-year-old boy with an extraordinary neurodivergent mind who sets out to solve the murder of a neighbor’s dog and embarks on a journey of self-discovery and family secrets.

Β颹ӰԺ’s fall student theatre production hits the stage at the College’s Marple Campus (901 South Media Line Road, Media, PA 19063) Nov. 19-22 at 7 p.m. in the Academic Building’s Large Auditorium. The production is directed by Stephen Patrick Smith and includes several student actors who identify as neurodivergent or autistic. β€œI always strive to have diverse casts with diverse perspectives,” Smith says.

Delaware County Community College’s Theatre Department provides a comprehensive theatre education to its students and brings the results to the community through vibrant, thought-provoking productions.
