Manufacturing Career Training for Neurodiverse Adults

The Uniquely Abled Academy (UAA) at Delaware County Community College, offered in partnership with the Manufacturing Alliance of Chester and Delaware Counties, prepares neurodiverse adults for careers in advanced manufacturing. Through hands-on Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining instruction, technical coursework, and career readiness training, students gain the skills and confidence needed to succeed in today’s manufacturing workforce.

Who Should Apply?

The program is designed for adults who:

  • Are at least 18 years old
  • Are interested in a career in advanced manufacturing
  • Demonstrate foundational math, reading, computer, and organizational skills needed to succeed in the program

Career Opportunities

Graduates are prepared for entry-level positions in advanced manufacturing, including CNC machine operator roles, with the technical knowledge, industry credentials, and professional skills employers value.
